Its not long till official Fireworks Night on November the 5th!

If you’re looking for a local display anywhere across Surrey between now this is place to be!


Hersham Youth Trust Fireworks

Friday 8th November – 8pm

This is a free event for all HYT members past and present, their family’s and open to everyone in the local community.

The youth club will be open from 7:30pm-10pm, with all the amenities as per the session.

We will have coffee bar open for any items and serving everyone with a free soup and roll. This display is sponsored by Hersham youth trust, to enable all our members the opportunity to attend a free fireworks display.

Burhill School Fireworks – Man On The Moon

Friday November 8th

To celebrate the 50th anniversary this year of Man first setting foot on the moon, Burhill Primary School in Hersham will be having a special Space theme for its popular annual firework family event, which takes place this year on Friday November 8.

The event will feature live band Risk Assessment and a whole host of amazing food and drink stalls plus games, crafts, face painting and the always-popular glow in the dark stall.

Chandlers Field Primary School

Gates open at 5.00pm
Fireworks displays are at 6:15pm (low noise) and 7pm

Please come along to Chandlers Field Primary School in West Molesey for a fun, family-friendly Fireworks evening – the gates open at 5:00pm and we will have a BBQ, Halloumi Bite Food Truck, mulled wine, donuts & sweet stalls, glow in the dark stall and small funfair rides.

Prices: Adult: £5.00, Child (under 16): £3.50, Under 2s: Free (Advance tickets only)

Cleves School Fireworks

This year Cleves School PTA will be celebrating Bonfire Night on Sunday 3rd November with a spectacular display of fireworks.

Woking Fireworks 2019

Woking’s biggest and best fireworks returns on Saturday 2nd November 2019 to celebrate 50 years since the moon landings. Our soundtrack is all about going to the moon, and the fireworks display is fully synchronised with the music. We have a funfair, food and drink. The event is suitable for all the family.

This year we have brought the start times forward to make the event even more family-friendly. The funfair and refreshments will open at 5.30pm and the fireworks display will begin at 7.30pm.
Woking’s Fireworks Extravaganza is brought to you by Woking District Rotary Club. All proceeds go to our carefully selected charities.

Cranleigh Bonfire and Firework Display

Saturday 2nd November

This is a free show, however please give generously to our collectors. Please may we suggest you put a minimum of £5.00 in our buckets. All profits from the event help charitable organisations, families and individuals in Cranleigh and the surrounding area that need our support.

All Day:
Torches & Grand Draw tickets on sale outside “The Co-Op” & on Stocklund Square. Grand Draw tickets are £1 each. Torches will also be available from 5.30pm at the Park Mead shops prior to the procession.

From 1pm:
Benson’s Fun Fair – on The Common. Look out for the Fun Fair on Friday evening too.

Make-a-Guy competition in Stocklund Square, sponsored by Burns & Webber for the 24th year! The winning Guy will be carried in the torchlight procession & placed on the top of the Bonfire. All other guys may sit around the fire. Fun Fair in full swing on the Common.

Assemble for torch-light procession, Park Drive, Park Mead.
Slinfold Concert Band plays in Stocklund Square outside Sainsbury’s.
Hog Roast and other refreshments ready on The Common.

Procession starts from Park Drive, Ewhurst Road led by The Royal Stuart Piper. There will be traffic delays in the Ewhurst Road and Cranleigh High Street whilst the procession is on.

Crowds in Stocklund Square join in the Torchlight Procession.

6:45pm (approx):
Bonfire Prayer is read to the crowd, & winning “Guy” is placed on top of the Bonfire, on The Common, Elmbridge Road side, GU6 8LU. The winning guy at the 2018 at the Cranleigh Bonfire & Fireworks

6:50pm (approx):
Bonfire is set ablaze. Torch bearers pass their torches to the Bonfire Marshalls.

Firework display set to music by Star Fireworks (who won the British Fireworks Championship in 2013) on The Common, Guildford Road side.

Benson’s Fun Fair continues on The Common.

The main display is due to begin at 7.30pm.

The funfair will be open from 5.30pm.

Gates close at 10:30pm on Saturday.


Tickets are available in advance at £8.00 per ticket (from Monday 7th October). These tickets are only available until 23.59 on Friday 1st November.

Tickets are also available on Saturday 2 November for purchase online and at the gates of Hook Road Arena, when the gates open at 5.30pm.

Tickets are £10.00 on the day of the display.

Farnham Fireworks and Torchlit Parade

Saturday 9th November

The event will begin with a flaming torch-lit procession from Central car park (6.15pm) marching up Castle Street into Farnham Park, led by a Scottish pipe band in full regalia. There is food, mulled wine, Hogsback beer (hogsback.co.uk) and children’s rides along with a ‘Best Guy’ competition, and of course the Bonfire (7.15pm). All followed by a fireworks display to music (7.45pm).

The band “Late to the Party” will be providing live music starting around 7pm and again after the fireworks. There will be more entertainment from Eagle Radio.

The Round Table is expecting a great evening – come and enjoy it and help them raise money to support your local charity. Farnham Round Table is a charitable organisation and ALL funds raised are distributed back into the local community to help organisations or people in need.


To avoid the queues, buy your tickets in advance from The Farnham Herald office on West Street, Farnham, or buy them online below.

Cost of tickets (up to 4pm on Saturday) are Child £4, Adult £6, Family (2 Adult 2 Children) £16.


On the gate, this rises to Child £5, Adult £7 and Family (2 Adults, 2 Children) £20.

Kingston Rotary Club Fireworks

Friday 8th November

Gates open at 6.30pm
Display starts at 8.00pm – (Last entry at 7.45pm)

For the only organised firework display in Kingston go to Kingsmeadow Athletics Stadium in Kingston Road, where Kingston Rotary Club and Kingston Round Table jointly host this great event each November. You can be assured of a display full of colour, noise and excitement set to music, as well as children’s fairground rides, a wide range of refreshments, and music and fun provided by Radio Jackie DJs live in the arena before the big display.
