M3 Closure Between Junctions 4a to 3 for the Half Term Weekend
M3 Closure Between Junctions 4a to 3 for the Half Term Weekend - Friday 9th Feb to Monday 12th February
An unprecedented full weekend closure on the A3 up to the M25 has been planned, which is likely to cause chaos in Surrey, as a huge diversion has been organised for drivers to make their way around.
The route will be closed on the A3 at Ripley Bypass at Burntcommon, up to junction 10 at the M25.
However, a diversion has been put into place, away from the closed stretch of road, which is a whopping 19-mile diversion, which could take around 38 minutes to complete.
Drivers coming from near the M25’s junction 10, are asked to come off at junction 9, at Leatherhead.
For those of you travelling further afield, a heads up that we have just received an update from our Highways officers about a significant closure of the M3 planned by National Highways this weekend.
Closure Details: The M3 will be fully closed between J3 and J4 starting from 8 PM on Friday, 9th February, until 6 AM on Monday, 12th February. This closure is due to urgent safety-related repairs.
Further Information: For additional details or concerns, please check the National Highways website, which will be updated shortly.
