Walton and Hersham Foodbank
It may just have been a coincidence of timing but I couldn’t help noticing the Walton & Hersham Foodbank collection bin looked pretty empty in Waitrose Hersham earlier today.
There is quite a bit of uncertainty about at the moment, particularly seeing whats happening in Italy and the fear that we may be a couple of weeks behind where they are now but please do think of those locally who do rely on foodbank donations.
From the Walton and Hersham Foodbank website these are the items currently in most need:
- Puddings
- Powdered Milk
- Long Life Fruit Juice
- Instant Mash Potato
- Tinned Meat
- Nappies, Sizes 2,3,4
They currently have plenty of the following:
- Pasta
- Baked Beans
- Pulses
- Coffee
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Nappies
- Chocolate
- Biscuits
